Infection Control
- We follow strict infection control procedure for your safety and protection.
- Critical items including dental handpieces (drills) are sterilized with steam under pressure after each use.
- Semi-critical items are sterilized with steam under pressure after each use.
- Proper functioning of our sterilization devices is checked regularly.
- Single use disposable items are discarded after use.
- Disposable barriers are used throughout the treatment area and discarded after use.
- Heat sensitive equipment are disinfected between patients.
- Our dental units use a closed water system. Dental unit waterline treatment is used to prevent the formation of biofilm and provide safe dental treatment water for your protection.

- Symptoms and temperature check for patients and staff.
- Mandatory face covering use and social distancing in the office.
- Hand sanitizer use for patients before and after dental procedures.
- Pre-procedural mouth rinse and rubber dam use during procedure to minimize bacterial and viral count in dental aerosols generated.
- Medical Grade HEPA air purifiers are used throughout the office.
- Extraoral Dental Suction System, high volume evacuation, and rubber dam are used to minimize dental aerosols and droplets.
- Sneeze guards are installed at the reception desk.
- Disposable barriers are used for patient contact area and replaced after use.
- Frequent disinfection of high touch area of the office.
- Our staff will use the appropriate level of personal protective equipment (PPE) based on the dental procedure.
- To facilitate social distancing, we do not double book. Patients will be seen one at a time.
